Miami-Dade Community ID

Branches is honored to take the lead in implementing this program for our community. Since 2022, many residents and citizens of Miami-Dade County have been able to apply for the Community ID card at events held periodically across the county and at Branches offices.

The Miami-Dade Community ID is an accepted form of photo identification for select County services that can be life-changing. Many residents and citizens do not meet the requirements to obtain a driver’s license or state-issued identification, making it difficult to prove their identity for everyday activities. This ID is especially valuable for seniors, survivors of domestic violence, individuals who are formerly incarcerated, experiencing homelessness, foster youth, and others lacking proper documentation.
